Job Description

We are currently looking for  a country Maintenance/After Sales Projects Director, on behalf of our client a major international group. The person will lead all the maintenance projects and operations in Algeria.

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • - Must be fluent in french
  • - Experience in After sales within an industrial sector such as automotive, machinery, railways rolling stock, ship/airplane/aerospace, electrical/power,.
  • - Experience as: Projects Director, Maintenance Manager, After Sales manager, etc

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

MISSION

  • Lead and manage the Division operations activities
  • Deliver on performance commitments across maintenance projects: Projects QCD and Operation KPI targets (Orders intake, Sales, Gross Margin, Overhead, Inventories,...).
  • Plan adequate professional development for the Maintenance team resources
  • Build a solid relation with the Customers.
  • Ensure Customer satisfaction.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute consistent action plans to implement the Division's Strategy for Algeria and grow the service activities, in coordination with Region and Division Platforms.
  • Deliver on commitments: Projects QCD, operational KPI targets (Orders intake, Sales, Gross Margin, Overhead, Inventories,...).
  • Manage relationship with all relevant functions to ensure projects QCD and Operational target achievement.
  • Foster good relationships with Project Managers and Country organisation.
  • Ensure relevant reporting and activity visibility in close interface with Regions and Projects
  • Ensure a consistent and structured application of the ~Group and the Division's processes (DFQ,EHS, audits, etc....)
  • Improve the Division (MENA) image and recognition both at the customers and the company's organisation level.
  • To manage and control bids in order to reach targeted hit rate.

 

Business understanding and desired knowledge/experience

 

  • A good knowledge of operation management in a complex environment
  • The job holder will require a high knowledge of the domestic market
  • Strategic vision of the Service market.
  • Operational management of business unit.
  • Proven background in Service activities.
  • Decision maker.
  • Strong Team management and Leadership skills.
