Job Description
Description Job Title: Document Control Manager (with Documentum & Rail exp) Location: London Rate: £200-£300/day Duration: At least the end of 2010, poss/probably rolling through Q1/Q2 of 2011 A genuinely exciting opportunity to take over a critical role within a programme management office for a major rail infrastructure project. This position is offered on a contract basis until at least the end of 2010 and possibly/probably well into 2011. You will be leading a small team of Document Controllers, who in turn are interfacing with a large and diverse range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. Mandatory Requirements: * Proven track record as a Document Control Manager / Team Leader * Competent in using Documentum and/or Network Rail’s CCMS (Corporate Content Management System) * At least 2 years experience in the rail industry, ideally as part of a major projects team * Experienced in leading a small team (2+) of Doc Controllers * Strong interpersonal & communications skills, able to engage effectively and influence at all levels. * Experience on Bentley’s ProjectWise would be preferable, for the management of CAD drawings, but this is certainly not a pre-requisite. Planned Start Date: end Sept 2010.
