Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a progressive railway signalling business who have positioned themselves as one of the market leaders. Salary and Location Based in Milton Keynes, £50,000 dependant on experience. Job Description Working on multi-disciplined rail projects, the Lead Quantity Surveyor will; • Manage payment application and credit control processes • Input into the development of commercial strategy within Project Commercial Team and with the Client • Input into management of project risk • Provide basic commercial advice to the project team • Manage disputes and claims • Produce accurate and timely reports and forecasts Required Experience The successful candidate will ideally have experience as the commercial lead within multi-disciplined rail projects and have experience of man management. • Hold the qualification of HND or above in Quantity Surveying or related discipline • Have a good knowledge and experience working in a contracting commercial department • Working knowledge of construction industry conditions of contract • Professional Qualification (desirable) • Quantity Surveying qualification at degree level (desirable) Company Profile This company have an industry reputation synonymous with quality and are one of the market leaders.
