Job Description
My client is a leading rail company working on the rail infrastructure in Abu Dhabi. The company are presently going through the process of network design and preliminary engineering and are looking for an experienced Operations Director. This is a permanent position with a salary of £90-120k UK equivalent with uplift and full relocation assistance. The ideal candidate will presently be working within either a TOC or a FOC, probably on the board either as an Operational Director or as a Managing Director. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will involve operational planning and procurement of rolling stock, devising reporting analyses and all other aspects of a start up rail operation. The right person will need to have a strong operational appreciation with excellent communication and leadership skills. This is an outstanding opportunity for the right individual who will enjoy the challenge of being involved in the largest installation of a railway network in the last thirty years.
