We are looking for a Project Buyer EMENA The role The purpose of the Project Buyer for the Middle East Region is to successfully manage the project spend and realize the pipeline savings. To optimize and manage the supply chain. To measure, report and improve supplier performance. This includes managing of material requirements in projects, send our requests for quotes, negotiations with the suppliers, purchase order placement and order management. The responsibilities Create, harmonize and manage Project Procurement Strategy, prepare, establish and manage Long Lead Items Planning. Manage material cost performance (TAC), manage changes to Bill Of Material. Establish purchase contracts for the projects and Sign / countersign purchase contract with supplier. Manage purchase contracts in the projects. Ensure deliveries to the project, manage material quality claims. Secure compliance of the project with sourcing strategy. Qualifications Your Experience and Qualifications You will be fluent in English and Arabic (highly desireable). Relevant and appropriate expertise in a similar role is essential. A background in the industrial environment (electronic or electro mechanical equipment) is highly desireable. Degree or equivalent coupled with an Institute of Purchasing qualification. Competent working knowledge of SAP/BAAN or similar system. High delivery focus and achievement orientation. Positive attitude and honest values base.
