Job Description
Department & how it relates to the role Using your expertise in Project Management, you’ll enjoy implementing and monitoring an exciting variety of projects, ensuring they’re engineered to the high standards we expect. About the role (External) As a Project Manager within the Efficient Infrastructure Delivery team you will: Pro-actively manage designated Efficient Infrastructure Delivery (EID) projects to enable delivery of benefits. Provide support to EID Project Managers and project teams in meeting deliverables. Assist projects in producing necessary project documentations, i.e. Bottom up benefit calculation. Work with projects and work-streams to develop recovery programme and contingency plans to meet revised objectives, if and when required for designated projects. · Summarise key milestones and critical path issues, provide an assessment of the impact of such issues and recommend corrective solutions. Manage and monitor an overall EID plan that ensures the defined Control Period 4 benefits for EID are met. Report on progress versus plan for EID overall. Create short term trackers to monitor issues that may impact the programme. Identify planning risks for overall EID benefits Risk Management Work with EID projects to develop a sustainability plan, transferring EID projects to business as usual within Assets/Functions. Support the EID Programme Manager in delivering business needs.
