We are a national transportation infrastructure firm that offers extensive design, engineering and planning services to federal, state and local public and private clients. HNTBs talented and dedicated professionals provide design and planning expertise that exceeds expectations. HNTB Corporations Raleigh, North Carolina office is currently looking for a hands-on Rail Track Engineer/Project Manager with experience in of freight and/or transit rail design. Responsibilities: * Responsible to complete design efforts on Rail and Transit projects. * Responsible for preparation and completion of rail engineering designs that are responsive to project needs. * Coordinate the preparation of design details, plans, and drawings within assigned task areas. * Help supervise, schedule and check work of project team members. * Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. * Responsible for productivity of subordinates and on time, on budget projects. Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or related Degree plus 5-7+ years of railroad/transit design, construction, planning and/or maintenance experience. * Professional Engineer (P.E.) License or ability to receive in the next 6 months preferred * Experience with geometric alignment and track layout is a plus. * Knowledge of InRail is a plus
