Job Description
Role Description You will be responsible for coordinating engineering maintenance activities within a busy railway environment, ensuring maintenance teams perform the required tasks on a shift by shift basis. An important part of this role is taking a lead with all aspects of health and Safety management of the depots and all staff & contractors working within it. This is a leadership role so you will be responsible for staffing issues including coaching, development and recruitment. You will also need to ensure you have a highly motivated and productive work force. Required Experience With hands on electrical/mechanical engineering skills coupled with prior experience of managing and leading a maintenance team within the rail sector, you ideally hold either the NEBOSH of IOSH qualification. It is essential you are qualified in an engineering discipline ONC, NVQ III or apprentice trained, you will be a team player and flexible to work shifts as required. Benefits Package This is a shift based role offering an attractive salary of £40k.
