Job Description
Overview: The time is right to join HNTB Corporation. We are a national transportation infrastructure firm that offers extensive design, engineering and planning services to federal, state and local public and private clients. HNTB?s talented and dedicated professionals provide design and planning expertise that exceeds expectations. We are seeking candidates for a Signal Engineering role in our Rail Group located in Chelmsford, MA. Primarily responsible for learning practical application of engineering principles. Assists in gathering and correlating raw data for arrangement in a workable form, eliminating discrepancies and improbabilities. Performs various engineering-related calculations and analysis of limited scope. Perform design calculations. Develop quantity estimates. Check plans and calculations. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. 0- 3 years of experience in the rail industry with experience in signal and controls and increasing managerial and supervisory experience. Knowledge of positive train control and active participation in industry technical societies and organizations is a plus.
