We are a national transportation infrastructure firm that offers extensive design, engineering and planning services to federal, state and local public and private clients. HNTB’s talented and dedicated professionals provide design and planning expertise that exceeds expectations. We are seeking candidates for a Rail Staff Engineer in our Rail Systems Engineering office in Chelmsford, MA. Responsibilities: Provides a significant breadth and depth of technical experience in a specific discipline and/or type of project work to analyze and evaluate complex design problems efficiently and provide viable solutions within established schedule and budget. Provide technical interface with clients and coordinate technical effort within his/her design areas. Coordinate and direct use of professional and technical staff assigned in the preparation of project documents. Provide design solutions within budget and time schedules. Technical interface with clients; coordinates technical effort with his/her design areas. Supervise staff in preparation of project documents. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering plus 10 years of experience in the Rail and Transit industry. PE Required
