We are talent pooling for Systems Integration Engineers for our future projects all around the world.

In your role you will represent Bombardier interface requirements with Civil partners, third party subcontractors and the Client. The position will provide engineering interface between design Engineers in Kingston, Ontario and said parties in Sao Paulo Brazil. Focus is on interface of E&M subsystems rather than Civil requirements.

In your role you will be responsible for:

· Provide in depth technical expertise in field of specialization to resolve problems of unusual complexity in a cost effective and timely manner.
· Develop and present technical presentations in response to client technology related questions/inquiries.
· Interface and coordinate with the System Engineering Department to insure consistency with established processes.
· Interface with partners to ensure Bombardier interface requirements are understood and met.
· Interact between with partners and subcontractors and home office staff. Ensure each party is fed designs to review and that comments are incorporated.
· Initiate, direct and schedule work load, identifying problems, monitoring progress and performing broad engineering responsibility to determine best solution.
· Perform other sundry duties in a leadership capacity such as controlling budget expenditures, reviewing quality of work performed, and reporting results to management.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

· You hold a Engineering Degree or CET.
· You possess at least ten years of responsible and productive design or system engineering experience. Proven record of technical accomplishments.
· You will have experience with transit system design and implementation with focus on E&M systems.
· You possess superior technical skills and demonstrated leadership qualities including written and verbal presentation skills. Knowledge of company policies and procedures, scheduling, and budgeting.
· You must have demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers and take responsibility for resources of the company.
· You are fluent in English and additional knowledge of Portuguese will be an advantage but not essential.
· You will be able to travel domestically and internationally approximately 15% of the time; often on short notice.
