More information about this job: Overview: HNTB Corporation is looking for a Transit Architecture Studio Leader to support our downtown Los Angeles, CA office. The position will focus on the pursuit and delivery of transit architecture practice and serve as the primary contact within HNTB’s transit practice and their clients. The incumbent will also be responsible for collaborating with other HNTB disciplines, including engineering and urban planning, and working with project managers to ensure client expectations and HNTB project delivery standards are met. Responsibilities: * Execution of transit architecture projects * Managing business development, marketing efforts, and proposal preparation in support of the transit practice * Converting project wins to work * Developing fee estimates and scopes of work as needed * Successful project execution including contracting and negotiations, work plans, project reviews, project communications, quality control, budgeting, scheduling, and project reporting * Managing budget, schedule, and program * Meeting or exceeding studio sales goals, budget, operations, and net income goals * Oversight of professional staff in all areas of work performance * Maintaining memberships and participation in organizations that provide opportunity for relationship building Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture plus 10 years experience in transit architecture. Must have experience with heavy, light, and/or high speed rail as well as working knowledge about transit stations, platforms, and other related structures. RA required.
